there's something so comforting about having the same rig every day.
imagine being told you have to move to a new office cubicle every time you go in to work AND people have been shuffling around all the things that you like to keep in certain places.
(...also sometimes the people you share a cubicle with accidentally leave dried blood on your desk and drop lettuce behind the printer and there's an unidentified sauce on your computer screen)
but yeah it considerably speeds up the time it takes to check out the ambulance in the morning when you know where everything is kept and what's been restocked. also i get really attached to objects and i haven't had an ambulance to truly call my own since st. joes times!
she ain't perfect but at least we know exactly how 24601 is going to act out instead of being surprised by each new random rig we get put on. the fix is kicking the side door extra hard so it doesn't fling open after taking a turn 😖 i wish i could show you the matching bandannas i made4 me, johnny, and brick (original members of the 24601 gang) but that would go against the job's social media policy
