big sigh of relief that the workweek finally ended. I paid the EMS gods back for the favor I asked of them (and in true monkey's paw form, they executed the favor in the most terrible way possible)

so did I inadvertently petition the EMS gods to cause an old lady to have a stroke so that we could take her to general and get off on time in the right direction?

to be fair I never asked for anyone to have a stroke. all I did was offer them two extra hours of my life in exchange to get to my flagbearer rehearsal on time. i didn't offer any specifics on how we'd accomplish that

well the gods work in strange and sometimes cruel ways and we musn't question them lest they grow vengeful

this day took it out of me so much that I couldn't manage to make more than one page of comics 😂
